The Sims 4 Blast from the Past event has players on another treasure hunt! Unlocking the latest rewards requires finding specific resources. This guide shows you exactly where to find Plathinum and Ironyum.

Finding Plathinum & Ironyum in The Sims 4 Blast from the Past Event

The "Inventing the Past" questline, part of the Blast from the Past Week 2 challenges, requires Plathinum and Ironyum for Emit. Fortunately, locating these resources is straightforward.

The process is identical to finding the Special Time Capsule. Look for areas with rocks and dirt mounds—parks are ideal. Pause the game to carefully scan your surroundings. Once you spot a suitable spot, simply walk over and dig. It might take a few attempts, but you'll eventually unearth Plathinum and Ironyum, unlocking the next quest: building the Time Travel Component.

If you're struggling to find enough rocks or dirt mounds, speeding up in-game time can help them generate faster. However, avoid spending too long in fast-forward mode, as you might miss your digging opportunities.
