How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO
The Fidough Fetch event (January 4th-8th, 2025) marked the in-game debut of Fidough and Dachsbun. Fidough appeared as a wild spawn alongside other canine Pokémon. It was also obtainable through Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges.
Alternatively, trading with other Trainers is a viable option. Online Pokémon GO communities like Reddit and Discord are excellent resources for finding reliable trading partners.
Dachsbun wasn't available as a wild spawn. Trainers needed to either trade for it or evolve a Fidough using 50 Candies. Evolving your strongest Fidough is recommended, as Dachsbun is a capable battler, useful in events, PvP, and against NPCs.
Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?
Currently (as of the Dual Destiny season), shiny Fidough and Dachsbun are unavailable. However, future events may introduce shiny variants, as is common with Pokémon GO's release strategy. Until then, Trainers will need to patiently await their shiny debut.
