Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! From January 20th to February 3rd, the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres return in their powerful Dynamax forms. This exciting event offers fantastic opportunities to catch these powerful Pokémon and earn valuable rewards.
Dynamax Legendary Pokémon: A Three-Week Event
The Iconic Trio: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres
Prepare for epic battles! Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will appear in their Dynamax forms in five-star Max Raids at Power Spots. Each legendary bird will have its own week-long spotlight:
- Dynamax Articuno: January 20th
- Dynamax Zapdos: January 27th
- Dynamax Moltres: February 3rd
Following their debut, each legendary bird will remain available for a full week. To aid in your capture attempts, a special "Legendary Flight Timed Research" event will run concurrently. This research offers chances to catch Pokémon (some with increased Shiny rates!), earn Candy, and collect Max Particles for powering up your Pokémon. The Timed Research schedule (in your local time):
- Dynamax Articuno: January 17th, 10:00 AM – January 20th, 7:00 PM (featuring Charmander, Beldum, and Scorbunny)
- Dynamax Zapdos: January 24th, 10:00 AM – January 27th, 7:00 PM (featuring Drilbur, Cryogonal, and Grookey)
- Dynamax Moltres: January 31st, 10:00 AM – February 3rd, 7:00 PM (featuring Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble)
Another Chance to Catch Victini!
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova is almost here! While the in-person event may not be accessible to all, players worldwide can upgrade their free Tour Pass to a Tour Pass Deluxe or Tour Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks for enhanced rewards and faster progression.
Starting at 10:00 AM on February 24th, 2025, all players receive a free Tour Pass. Collect Tour Points and rank up to earn additional rewards until the event concludes on March 2nd, 6:00 PM (local time).
Upgrading to Tour Pass Deluxe unlocks the Mythical Pokémon Victini and the new Lucky Trinket. This item allows you to set your friendship status with a friend to "Lucky Friends," enabling a trade resulting in a Lucky Pokémon (boosted stats and low power-up costs). The Lucky Friends status resets after the trade.
Tour Pass Deluxe is available for $14.99 USD, and Tour Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks is $19.99 USD. Remember to claim your rewards before they expire on March 9th, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
