Get Ready for Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 Twitch Drops!
Pokémon GO is giving away exclusive rewards during the Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 in Honolulu! This exciting event, running from August 16th to 18th, 2024, offers Twitch Drops and redeemable codes. Trainers worldwide can participate and earn special in-game items by watching the official Twitch livestream.
Claiming Your Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 Twitch Drops:
Watch 30 minutes of the official Pokémon GO livestream on Twitch during any of the three event days. Remember to link your Twitch and Pokémon Trainer Club accounts beforehand. Minimizing the stream will pause your progress. After 30 minutes, a Twitch chat pop-up will alert you to claim your reward from the Twitch Drops Inventory Page or rewards.pokemon.com (codes valid until August 26th, 11:59 PM UTC).
Exclusive Rewards and Timed Research:
Earn up to three codes: two from the main livestream (one per day) and one from official co-streams (August 16th, 9:00 a.m. HST to August 19th, 12:00 a.m. HST). These codes unlock Timed Research with unique rewards:
Day 1 Rewards:
Redeeming the Day 1 code grants Timed Research featuring:
- An encounter with a Sableye (Shadow Claw & Foul Play)
- An Elite Charged TM
- Sableye caught during this research will also know Shadow Claw & Foul Play
- Extra Candy XL (Trainers level 31+) for completing three-star Shadow Raids (Shadow Sableye may appear!)
Day 2 Rewards:
The Day 2 code unlocks Timed Research for building a Great League team. Choose from three options:
Team Option 1: Dunsparce, Mantine, Pancham
Team Option 2: Galarian Weezing, Skorupi, Chespin
Team Option 3: Jigglypuff, Shellos, Inkay
You'll also receive 8,500 Stardust and increased Shiny encounter chances!
