Pokémon Center Hiroshima Relocation and Gyarados Plaza Launch
The Pokémon Center Hiroshima is moving! It will temporarily close in March 2025 and reopen at a new location in April 2025. Excitingly, a new Gyarados Plaza is opening in March as well!
New Location for Pokémon Center Hiroshima
The Pokémon Center Hiroshima, established in June 2015, will relocate to the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station. Its current location on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building will close at the end of March.
Gyarados Plaza Opens at Hiroshima Station
The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will debut on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza in the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Advance reservations will be required for a limited time after its opening. Check the official Minamoa website for details.
Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event
To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" reaching over 1 million subscribers, participating Pokémon Centers across Japan (including Hiroshima, before its closure) will host a nationwide event. Fans can receive an exclusive sticker by providing a password found in a December 19, 2024, "Poke-lun TV" YouTube video.
Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa will also feature special photo opportunities with the "Poke-lun TV" hosts. This event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025, and excludes Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Center Online, Pokémon Cafes, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Cafe.
