Unlock the "Pose of the Unbound" Emote in FFXIV Patch 7.16!
Patch 7.16 of Final Fantasy XIV introduces exciting new quests and cosmetic rewards. This guide focuses on obtaining the coveted "Pose of the Unbound" emote.
Obtaining the Emote:
To acquire the "Pose of the Unbound," you must complete the quest "Imposing Views." This quest is available from the Unbound Agent NPC located in Ul'dah – Steps of Thal (coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5).
Prerequisites:
Before "Imposing Views" becomes available, you must first complete the quest "Picking Up the Torch." This requires finishing all five role quests in the game. This means reaching level 100 with a character in each of the following roles: Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS. Complete their respective role quests in Tulliyollal to unlock "Picking Up the Torch."
Completing "Imposing Views":
"Imposing Views" is a relatively simple quest. Travel to the Sagolii Desert, interact with Apyaahi multiple times, and defeat a few monsters. Upon completion, you'll receive the "Pose of the Unbound" emote.
Using the Emote:
To use your new emote, type either /unbound or /poseoftheunbound into the chat box and press Enter. Your character will then strike a humorous, Jojo-esque pose.
