The launch edition features the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, prioritizing performance over the efficiency-focused Core Ultra 9 185H. Other specs include a 16" QHD+ 240Hz display, 32GB DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. This configuration undercuts the similarly specced Razer Blade 16 by approximately $500.

Shipping Timeline

HP anticipates shipping the Omen Max 16 in early to mid-March. Benchmarks are pending the RTX 50-series mobile GPU release.

Alternative: Razer Blade Laptops

Razer's 2025 gaming laptops, the Blade 16 and Blade 18, are also available for preorder, featuring Intel and AMD Ryzen processors (depending on model) and RTX 5000-series mobile GPUs (RTX 5070 Ti, 5080, and 5090). Preorders include bonus accessories.

Renowned for their premium build quality, Razer Blade laptops utilize a unibody aluminum chassis and a proprietary cooling system with a vacuum-sealed, liquid-filled copper vapor chamber for efficient heat dissipation. This advanced engineering justifies their higher price point compared to competitors.
