The delay coincides with the development team's preparation for the 1.2 update, which is set to introduce significant new features to Dr. Eggman's toybox world, including Rumble Rankings, Crews, and character Skills. These additions are designed to enrich the core gameplay, offering more objectives beyond just winning the chaotic matches.
Rumble Rankings will enable players to ascend seasonal leaderboards and earn rewards, while Crews let you team up with friends to tackle score-based missions. The new Skills system will equip characters with unique special abilities, adding a strategic layer to gameplay.
