Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's SEVA-V Armor: A Free Early-Game Acquisition
Stalker 2 offers a range of armor suits to enhance player survival within The Zone's hazardous environment. The SEVA-V suit, a standout among the SEVA series, is particularly valuable due to its high PSI protection and early-game accessibility. This guide details how to obtain this crucial piece of equipment.
Locating the SEVA-V Suit
The SEVA-V suit is located at the Scientist Helicopter Point of Interest (POI) in Stalker 2's Rostok region. This POI is situated southwest of the Rostok base, in a large field featuring a crashed helicopter amidst an Electro anomaly and a large, rusted crane. The suit itself rests atop the crane, requiring a climb to retrieve.
Accessing the Crane and Retrieving the Armor
Upon arriving at the Scientist Helicopter POI, you'll observe the crashed helicopter within the Electro anomaly (to the right) and a ladder leading up the rusted crane (to the left). Before ascending, utilize an artifact detector to acquire an Electro-type artifact from the anomalous field; this will prove helpful.
Climb the crane's ladder. Once at the top, proceed right across the crane structure to the operator's cabin (located on the left). Carefully jump the gap to the cabin's interior. Inside, you'll find a bag containing valuable supplies and the SEVA-V armor. Retrace your steps to descend the crane.
SEVA-V Suit Stats and Potential Uses
The SEVA-V suit, upgradable by the Rostok base technician Screw, allows for four artifact slots and provides excellent radiation protection alongside substantial PSI protection. If you possess superior armor or don't require the SEVA-V suit, selling it offers a significant return.
