Navigating the Garbage Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

After leaving the Lesser Zone, your journey continues into the challenging Garbage area. Due to the distance from your starting base, encountering traders in this region will take some time.

Stalker 2 Garbage Trader Locations

Initially, your quest markers won't directly guide you to the Slag Heap hub. Progressing the main storyline is necessary to officially access this location. Completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest unlocks the Slag Heap on your map. This requires prior visits to the Detention Center and the Laboratory, before meeting Scar.

However, feel free to explore the Slag Heap early; it's situated north of the laboratory. This hub features two key traders.

Boozer, located at the Slag Heap entrance, runs the bar. He offers food and drinks, but also accepts a wide variety of items for sale. You can't miss him!

Huron, the second trader, is found by heading left and entering the open door on your right. He specializes in weapons and equipment. His room also serves as your stash, allowing you to store extra items. Interacting with Huron can also trigger a side quest.

While not a trader, a Tech is also present in the Slag Heap, located at the back of the left corridor. You'll encounter him while progressing the main quest with Diode.
