FromSoftware games are notoriously difficult, as evidenced by Kai Cenat's thousand-plus deaths in Elden Ring alone. This makes the accomplishments of players tackling additional challenges all the more remarkable.
Streamer Dinossindgeil has achieved a world first: completing God Run 3 SL1. This grueling challenge involves consecutively finishing seven FromSoftware titles without leveling up or sustaining a single hit. The player dedicated nearly two years to this monumental undertaking. His emotional triumph culminated in tears upon defeating Dark Souls III's final boss, Soul of Cinder.
God Run 3 SL1 is widely regarded as the most challenging feat within the FromSoftware community. The rules are unforgiving: seven games, no leveling, and zero damage taken. A single hit necessitates restarting the entire sequence, regardless of progress.
Dinossindgeil's journey involved countless attempts. A setback occurred in the summer of 2024 due to a Dark Souls II bug – an arrow clipping through a wall – forcing a restart after already conquering Elden Ring and Dark Souls I.
FromSoftware's response to this achievement will be eagerly awaited. However, Dinossindgeil's place in gaming history is undeniably cemented.
