Among the most memorable female fighting game characters, three instantly come to mind: Nina Williams, Chun-Li, and Mai Shiranui. While Nina and Chun-Li clashed in Street Fighter x Tekken, a rematch isn't on the immediate horizon.
However, Mai Shiranui's arrival as a guest character in Street Fighter 6 is a different story. It's no surprise, then, that her gameplay trailer features a showdown with Chun-Li.
Mai showcases her signature moves, and her Super looks spectacular. She's poised to become a very popular addition to Street Fighter 6's roster. Sadly, fans will need to exercise a bit more patience; Capcom has set the release date for February 5th, meaning a three-week wait.
Let's hope the Street Fighter 6 team keeps us entertained with additional content in the meantime.
