NetherRealm and WB Games have released the official gameplay trailer for the T-1000, arriving in Mortal Kombat 1 next Tuesday. This liquid metal Terminator offers a unique playstyle, creatively dodging projectiles with his shape-shifting abilities. Fans of Kabal, absent from this iteration, will likely find much to enjoy, as several of Kabal's signature moves and weapons have been incorporated into the T-1000's moveset.
The trailer is packed with references to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, including a recreation of the iconic finger-wagging scene (a gesture famously banned in the NBA!). The T-1000 even asks Johnny Cage if he's seen John Connor.
Alongside the T-1000, the trailer showcased Madam Bo, another upcoming addition to the game's roster. The T-1000's Fatality is particularly brutal, showcasing his ability to reshape himself and replace his victim—a chillingly efficient display of his mission-oriented programming.
While no further announcements were made by WB Games, speculation abounds that this might be the final wave of DLC for MK1, with a potential new game announcement on the horizon. However, this remains unconfirmed.
