Studio Bitmap Bureau is bringing a retro-style side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the iconic film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. While inspired by the movie's plot, the game promises original storylines and multiple endings, ensuring replayability and a fresh take on the familiar narrative. Key scenes from the classic film will remain, however, providing fans with a nostalgic experience.
Players will take control of the T-800, Sarah Connor, and a now-adult John Connor, each offering a unique gameplay perspective. As the T-800 and Sarah Connor, players will face off against the relentless T-1000, while John Connor will lead the resistance against the machines.
The trailer showcases the game's stylish pixel art, faithfully recreating iconic moments from Terminator 2 and featuring the franchise's instantly recognizable theme music. Beyond the main story, players can dive into several arcade modes for extra challenge and fun.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (the game) launches September 5th, 2025, on all current-generation consoles and PC.
