Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Gameplay: A First-Person Perspective Only
Based on trailers and promotional materials, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 offers a fully immersive first-person experience. The question many players have is: does it include a third-person mode? The short answer is no.
The game's developers deliberately chose a first-person perspective to enhance immersion. This design choice allows players to fully inhabit the role of Henry, experiencing the world from his unique viewpoint. While the modding community might eventually create a third-person mod, the base game remains exclusively first-person.
While exploring the game world, you'll see Henry only during cutscenes and conversations with NPCs. The camera will shift between Henry and the other character, showcasing his appearance, which changes based on dirt levels and equipped gear. However, the first-person perspective remains constant during gameplay.
An official third-person mode is highly improbable. Therefore, if you plan to play, be prepared for a completely first-person adventure.
This clarifies the absence of a third-person mode in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For more game tips and information, including optimal perk selections and romance options, check out The Escapist.
