UPDATE (1/19/25) - TikTok is back online in the U.S. after a brief service interruption.

In a statement on X/Twitter, TikTok confirmed the restoration, attributing it to an agreement with service providers and thanking President Trump for assurances against penalties. The company emphasized the importance of maintaining service for its 170 million American users and 7 million small businesses. They stated their commitment to working with President Trump on a long-term solution to ensure TikTok's continued presence in the United States, highlighting this as a victory for the First Amendment and against arbitrary censorship.
