Week 2 of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents a puzzling challenge: studying a Historical Display. This guide clarifies how to complete this seemingly simple, yet occasionally problematic, task.
Locating a Historical Display:
To begin, locate a museum on your in-game map. Museums are represented by an icon featuring pillars. While several exist, the Municipal Museum in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs offer convenient proximity to other event tasks.
Completing the Task:
Enter the museum and interact with a Historical Display (paintings or sculptures qualify). Select the "View" option. Successful completion is indicated by the appearance of the Emit icon.
Troubleshooting Common Issues:
Many players report difficulties with the "View" option, often attributed to mods. If encountering this problem, consider temporarily disabling mods to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, try interacting with multiple displays in different museums.
