Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Developer Updates
Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back once more, with the new target date set for October 2025. The official announcement came via the game's Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann provided insights into the game's current development status. He stated, "The game is essentially complete. Our focus now is on bug fixing, stability, and performance to ensure we deliver the best possible experience upon release."
Over recent months, Paradox has been sharing Dev Diaries to keep the community informed about the game’s progress, covering aspects like characters, stories, and mechanics. However, all Dev Diaries have been paused temporarily to allow the developers to concentrate on enhancing the game's quality.
First Revealed in 2019
Originally unveiled in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially scheduled for a March 2020 release. The game was being developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time. However, in October 2019, the release was postponed to an unspecified date in 2020, and then further delayed to 2021.
During this period, several key team members departed from the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and development duties were handed over to The Chinese Room. The game's release was then anticipated for late 2024, subsequently pushed to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is slated for release in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay informed with the latest updates by checking out our article below!
