BioWare has currently shelved plans for downloadable content (DLC) for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. However, creative director John Epler hinted at the possibility of a remastered Dragon Age collection.
BioWare's Focus Shifts from Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC to Mass Effect
Remastered Dragon Age Collection Remains a Possibility
According to Rolling Stone, BioWare has confirmed it won't be developing DLC for The Veilguard, considering the game's development cycle complete. The studio's attention has now turned to the next Mass Effect title.
While specifics regarding Veilguard DLC remain undisclosed, Epler addressed the prospect of a remastered Dragon Age trilogy. He expressed enthusiasm for the idea but acknowledged significant challenges due to the original games' reliance on EA's proprietary game engines, a factor that differed from the Mass Effect Legendary Edition development. Epler stated, "It’s not going to be as straightforward as Mass Effect, but we cherish the original games. Never say never, I suppose."
