Microsoft has unveiled two stunning Witcher 3-themed Xbox controllers to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. These special edition controllers are now available exclusively at the Microsoft Store, with the standard version priced at $79.99 and the Elite Series 2 at $169.99. As a fan, it's incredible to see such a beloved game reach this milestone.

Both controllers share a striking design inspired by Geralt of Rivia. They feature intricate etchings of Geralt's wolf medallion at the center, adding a touch of authenticity. The controllers also showcase Glagolitic script, the oldest Slavic alphabet, mirroring the script found within the game itself. Additionally, the right grip is adorned with red claw marks that represent the "III" from the game's title, making these controllers a visual treat for any fan.
Despite their thematic design, these controllers maintain the functionality of their standard counterparts. The regular Xbox controller remains my top pick due to its comfortable grip and durability, even withstanding the rough play of my kids.
The Elite Series 2 model, however, offers additional premium features to justify its higher price point. These include adjustable-tension thumbsticks, hair trigger locks, and a wrap-around rubberized grip. It also comes with interchangeable components such as thumbsticks of different heights, various D-pad designs, and customizable rear paddles.
