Wow: Anniversary Currency Deadline Extended

World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon a player's first login after the patch's release.

The 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, allowed players to acquire Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing various items, including revamped Tier 2 sets. Any remaining tokens will now be converted to prevent them from becoming obsolete. Blizzard confirmed these tokens will not be used in future events.

This automatic conversion ensures players don't retain unused, worthless currency. While a release date for Patch 11.1 remains unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, aligning with Blizzard's recent update schedule. This means the conversion will likely occur after the current Turbulent Timeways event concludes on February 24th. Timewarped Badges, the converted currency, can be used in future Timewalking events, with no planned removal of purchasable rewards.

World of Warcraft Bronze Celebration Token Auto-Conversion in Patch 11.1

The automatic conversion of Bronze Celebration Tokens to Timewarped Badges in Patch 11.1 addresses the issue of unused currency remaining after the anniversary event. This streamlined process ensures players benefit from their previously earned tokens, even after the event's conclusion. The conversion ratio remains consistent with the in-event exchange rate, providing a fair and efficient resolution. Players are advised to log in promptly following the Patch 11.1 release to claim their converted Timewarped Badges.
