A leaked Zenless Zone Zero update reveals a new Version 1.5 event featuring a Fall Guys-style multiplayer platformer game mode. This temporary event, tentatively titled "Grand Marcel," will reportedly offer unique gameplay distinct from the battle-focused modes recently added in Version 1.4.
The leak, originating from community leaker Palito, includes screenshots showcasing stages reminiscent of Fall Guys. While the specifics remain unclear, the mode may be limited to the "Grand Marcel" event and may feature players as either their standard characters or the popular Bangboo. Attractive rewards, including Polychromes, are anticipated.
This isn't HoYoverse's first foray into platformer events; Honkai Impact 3rd's "Midnight Chronicle" event in 2022 featured similar gameplay. Given the popularity of Bangboo, their inclusion in this mode is a strong possibility.
Version 1.5, slated for January 22nd, will also introduce highly anticipated characters Astra Yao and Evelyn, along with rumored content such as Nicole's first character skin and a potential Agent Story for Ellen. The addition of this platformer event promises a diverse gameplay experience alongside the new characters and other additions.
