Ride Kazakhstan's public transport effortlessly with SMSBUS, the cashless mobile ticketing system. Pay directly from your phone balance—commission-free! Find participating cities and routes on the official website: https://smsbus.kz

Show your electronic ticket on your phone to the driver or transit authority for fare validation. Your ticket remains valid until your destination and is accessible in the "Valid Tickets" section. View past tickets under "Travel details."

By using SMSBUS, you agree to their terms of service, available at https://smsbus.kz.

Payment failures may occur due to:

  • Corporate phone numbers
  • Unpaid trust payments
  • Insufficient balance since number activation
  • Unused starting balance
  • SIM card replacement within the last 24 hours

Create a free virtual transport card within the app. Self-registration is available for standard and student cards. Other discounted cards require in-person application at an SMSBUS office with supporting documentation.

Top up your virtual card using your card number via the app or through services like Kaspi Bank and Halyk Bank (homebank).

  2. Location: Accurate map display, automatic bus detection for simplified payment (determining the bus code via GPS), and route planning (including transfers) from your location to your destination using map or address input.
