Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2) introduces an innovative feature designed to enhance accessibility and narrative depth. In the latest episode of the Koji Pro radio broadcast on April 14, DS2 Director Hideo Kojima unveiled that players can now clear boss encounters without engaging in combat. This option caters particularly to less experienced players who may find boss fights challenging.
When facing a game over screen, players can opt to "continue," which bypasses the boss fight. Instead of combat, the game presents a visual novel-like sequence, featuring images and text that narrate the outcome of the battle. This approach ensures players can still experience the crucial story elements tied to each boss fight, maintaining the narrative flow without the need for combat.
Death Stranding 2 Nears Completion at 95%
