"The First Berserker: Khazan Unveils New Combat Mechanics in Gameplay Trailer"

Neople, a subsidiary of the renowned South Korean gaming giant Nexon, is set to unveil its eagerly awaited hardcore RPG slasher, The First Berserker: Khazan. Scheduled for release on March 27, this thrilling game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. To build anticipation, the developers have released an eight-minute gameplay trailer that delves deep into the game's sophisticated combat system.

The trailer highlights three fundamental combat principles: attacking, dodging, and defending. In The First Berserker: Khazan, defense consumes significantly more stamina than dodging. However, perfectly timed blocks not only reduce stamina drain but also minimize stun effects, offering a strategic advantage. On the flip side, dodging uses less stamina but demands precise timing and quick reflexes to make the most of the invulnerability frames during evasive maneuvers. Much like other soulslike games, mastering stamina management is crucial for success in The First Berserker: Khazan.

Should stamina be depleted, Khazan enters an exhaustion state, leaving him completely exposed to enemy attacks. This mechanic adds a layer of strategy, as players can exploit it to deplete enemies' stamina before landing devastating blows. For enemies without stamina bars, their resilience can still be worn down through persistent attacks. These battles require patience, precise positioning, and impeccable timing, yet they are balanced by the fact that monster stamina does not regenerate over time. This ensures that players can strategically outlast their foes, making every encounter a test of skill and endurance.
